PRODUCT QUESTIONS

How exact are the colors in a particular area rug?

We have matched the yarn used to create our rugs directly to a school’s specified Pantone colors.  In some cases, schools have a policy of seeing the actual product before granting us approval to manufacture.  In any case, the same diligence was applied to matching color for your favorite school, for fans realize how color critical their purchase should be.  Because tufting is a manufacturing and not a printing process, color can vary +/- 5% from the Pantone standard from one cycle to the next.

Are the pictures of your rugs accurate?

We have provided you with the most accurate, color-corrected photographs that we can provide for each area rug. But, because of differences in computer monitors, we are not responsible for differences in colors shown in rug pictures on your computer screen.

How do I clean my area rug?

Each rug can be spot cleaned with a mild soap and water solution. Vacuuming your area rug regularly will aid in preventing stains from becoming harder to clean. For more information on how to clean your rug, please visit our Care Guide for Large Area Rugs

What size area rug to I need?

Each room of the house will need a different kind of rug to suit the space, and the furniture layout will be a large factor in the size of the rug you pick. We recommend reading our article How To Determine The Perfectly Sized Area Rug For Your Room for more information.

Is there any other maintenance recommended for your rugs?

We suggest trimming any loose yarn that may appear.

Is shedding normal for area rugs?

Yes. Some rugs shed more than others, and this is considered normal and not a manufacturing defect. For example, in comparison to wool rugs, our polyacrylic rugs shed less. When shedding occurs, simply vacuum the loose material away.
